Orchids

GHE is not an orchid specialist (although we can help you and put you in contact with the right specialists if you have specific questions). At GHE we specialize in plant nutrition and hydroponics. Often it is plant collectors who discover us, use our products, and become our true spokes people.

In 1994, our products took off in France among orchid collectors and are spreading little by little in several European countries, especially in the UK and Germany.

Testimony

It is essentially thanks to Hugo Bonte, founder of the well-known chain of French gardening stores, Les Jardins Suspendus, that we were connected with another segment of dedicated growers, the orchid collectors. With Olga and Patrick, his partners at the AFPCO (Association Française de Culture et Protection des Orchidées), and with the collaboration of Franck Henriet from Les Jardins Suspendus in Jussieu (Paris VI), a series of tests was made on Phalenopsis with Flora Series. Thanks to FloraCalc, they were able to reach exceptional results with extremely precise formulas, very close to the precious MSU formula

Notice :

1) Use essentially Flora Series as a nutrient for orchids, it is the most flexible formula. And you can use Sevia Grow & Bloom too, if you want to work exclusively with an organic nutrient.
2) If you use other nutrients than the GHE products, Bio Essentials, especially in foliar spray, will bring your plants the essential microelements that are often absent from most fertilizers. Notice: Bio Essentials must not be used with Flora Series, which already contains all of its elements.
3) More and more orchid growers use hydroponics for their cultivars: the WaterFarm, the AquaFarm, the EcoGrower, and, for medium to large size operations, the DPS Hydro.
